The Siberian Husky generally has a reputation for being a very healthy breed. Although the Siberian Husky does not have its own Pevisa (a Finnish program to combat hereditary defects and diseases) at the moment, we health check our own dogs that are used for breeding.
I'm interested in health and genetic diversity in the breed. The Siberian Husky has only one breed standard, and generally speaking I don't like that the breed is so strongly divided into show and working lines.
In the combinations I choose, I aim for the middle line of breed type, without favoring either extreme. I don't breed based on coat or eye color.
My ideal is a thoroughbred Arctic, strong-pawed sled dog - Siberian Husky, without prefixes.

I value a genuinely good and cooperative temperament in the dogs used for breeding. The Siberian Husky is primarily a sled dog that works within a larger pack. In such groups, dominant or overly reactive individuals often create tension and can lead to conflicts. I avoid using dogs that are excessively cocky, but also those that are overly soft-natured.
Due to its origins, the Siberian Husky is a true pack dog, and as a loner it may be more prone to problems. In their future home, it is ideal if there is already another dog, or if the owners have previous experience with the breed.
Although a Husky can enjoy many activities and hobbies, the Siberian Husky is originally a sled dog, and this heritage should be valued.
Because of the breed’s origins and characteristics, I hope that those interested in our puppies are also primarily interested in activities suited to the breed: mushing, canicross, bikejoring, skijoring…
I am an official breeder registered with the Finnish Kennel Club. I breed on a small scale and only use combinations from which I primarily plan to keep one or more puppies at home. Inquiries about available combinations can be sent via email or through our kennel’s Facebook page.
In your message, please be honest about your dog experience, the type of dog you are looking for, and the kind of environment you can provide.
I do not promise a specific puppy to anyone too early, as it takes time to observe the development of both structure and character during growth.
It is best for both the dog and its future home that the right puppy goes to the right home.

The Siberian Husky is a wonderful breed, but it’s not for every home or every owner. If you’re getting your first Husky, it’s important to think honestly, and even a bit critically, about your time, experience, and resources. Huskies have a strong reputation for thriving in outdoor kennels for a reason.

I’d love to hear stories about our puppies throughout their lives, both the fun moments and the tricky ones.

Please note: If the puppy needs anything extra before traveling abroad, like additional vaccinations, a passport, a travel crate, or transport to the airport, these costs will be added to the final price. We ask you to pick up your puppy in person here in Finland. We live in Kuru, a small town about 50 km north of Tampere, but we can also arrange to meet somewhere convenient for you, for example in Helsinki.
